Our peat-free & natural top soil is a high quality material perfect for your gardening needs. It's sourced and extracted locally from greenfield sites, maintaining its rich, organic qualities. Each bag of soil is screened to approximately 14 mm, which allows for optimal aeration and root penetration. It also retains small stones to assist with free drainage and natural irrigation. As with all quality sandy loams, it has a pH of ~7.5. This makes it both versatile and great for planting all types of gardens, from lawns and borders to vegetable patches.

For best results, this soil should be raked and leveled in dry conditions. For a lawn, a minimum depth of 6" is recommended, and with vegetables, a depth of at least 18" mixed with  compost is best.
